$595 towards $1,000

In 2017 I was diagnosed with lung cancer, and I had my left upper lube removed. We thought all was well until the spring of 2018 when we were informed that the cancer was back, and I was now stage IV and probably had 9 months to live. I was told there was a small chance that my cancer had a driver that could be "targeted". Well as it turned out I was one of the "lucky" ones and have what is called a ROS1 driver.

It's because of research that I am alive. I am on a targeted therapy drug that has held me pretty much stable and has allowed me to live life and watch my grandkids grow up...

I am so very grateful to be alive and ask for your help in continuing research so when my cancer outsmarts my latest therapy (as it will someday) that there will be other treatments available.

Join me in supporting the ROS1ders, we are raising money to support patient-partnered research into our own disease, and we could use your help. Our ongoing projects in need of support include The ROS1 Cancer Model project, the ROS1 Real World Data project, and ROS1+ cancer seed grants.

Just a small donation will go a long way to helping me meet my goal.
