Sara Brain's Fundraiser
Donate towards ROS1 lung cancer research
in memory of Sara Brain
Sara was diagnosed with ROS1 non-small cell lung cancer in 2019 and sadly passed away on Christmas Day 2022.
Sara benefited from breakthrough targeted therapies, many of which didn't exist several years ago. In Sara’s memory, her family would like to invite you to donate to The Ros1ders in the hope that your donation will help continue vital research into the disease.
ROS1 is a very rare subtype of non-small cell lung cancer; it comprises roughly 2% of all non-small cell lung cancer diagnoses. This makes it challenging to interest cancer organizations and pharmaceutical companies to invest in treatments for the disease. Consequently, much of the push for further treatment development comes from patient driven efforts.
The ROS1ders is a global initiative formed by ROS1 patients and caregivers, aiming to develop knowledge, therapeutic options, and better outcomes for ROS1 cancer. Visit the website to learn more about the ROS1ders patient-partnered research at The ROS1ders Global Initiative.
