ROS1ders world wide need your support. Will you help?
The ROS1ders is a nonprofit corporation with a membership of patients, caregivers, and family members living with ROS1+ cancers in over 30 countries. Our cancer is deadly and relatively rare (1-2% of lung and other cancers). Our mission is to improve outcomes for all ROS1+ cancers through community, education, and research. Our members are primarily engaged patients who join us to save their own lives.
Our Community and Education Program brings people living with ROS1+ cancer together and provides them with accurate, understandable medical information--we held our first in-person Summit in August 2024. Our Medical and Research Program includes networking with industry and academic researchers, seed grant awards to spark high-risk, high-reward research breakthroughs in ROS1+ cancer, and collaborations through our Global ROS1 Initiative,
Each of our ROS1+ Cancer Innovation Award seed grants provides a one-year, $75,000 grant. Applications are scored by members of our Scientific Advisory Board. Funds for the awards were raised through individual contributions to The ROS1ders by patients and supporters who seek to accelerate study of this relatively rare cancer.
Our stretch goal is to fund three $75k seed grants per year, requiring us to fundraise a total of $225,000 per year. Every donation, regardless of size, contributes to our vision of advancing research that leads to better treatments and improved outcomes for the ROS1+ cancer community. Please consider sharing this opportunity with your networks to help us reach more potential supporters increasing our collective power to make a difference.
Thanks for supporting The ROS1ders!
